RFK: Path Forward
Is this about the shocking revelation of leaving a dead bear in Central Park or his controversial apology for recording a private phone conversation with Trump that went viral? Add to that his failure to secure a spot at the crucial Trump-Biden CNN Debate, which many believe marked the end of Biden’s presidential bid. From the start, Bob Kennedy’s run for the White House has felt like navigating treacherous waters, with each step seeming like it could be his last. RFK has promised a different kind of campaign, offering a new vision for America—one that challenges the traditional views of both Blue and Red states and strives to make a difference. As a seasoned environmentalist with a strong political lineage, he certainly has compelling ideas for the America he envisions. But it might not be his moment just yet or probably Kennedy’s America is not the America that Americans on their kitchen tables wanted at this point of the election game. RFK is expected to end his campaign on Friday and possibly endorse Trump, according to several pundits and hints from his VP Shanahan in a recent interview. However, RFK has shown that an independent candidate can break through the rigid two-party system and make significant progress in the campaign season. And that’s an accomplishment that trumps the bear or the leaked phone call.
