Carlos Yulo: Two Golds

Philippine gymnast Carlos Yulo made history at the Paris Olympics by winning two gold medals in the floor exercise and vault finals. Carlos is the first Filipino male athlete to win a gold medal at the Olympics and the first Philippine athlete to win two Olympic gold medals. In a country known for its passion for beauty pageants and sports, Carlos' victory is celebrated nationwide. The Philippine government will award Carlos with around 20 million Philippine pesos as a cash incentive for winning an olympic gold medal, while the House of Representatives will provide him with around 6 million Philippine pesos. Additionally, private businesses will reward Carlos with a fully furnished city condo and other brands as well will provide him with additional rewards for his historic achievements.
