Ukraine: Avengers AI

Ukraine’s Avengers AI developed by the Ministry of Defence Innovation Center is a testament to the country’s innovative spirit even on the time of war and against all odds. On average, the Avengers AI can automatically detect around 12,000 units of the target’s vehicles and equipments on a weekly basis using sophisticated and built in structures and internal components that automatically analyze the data coming from drones and fixed and on site cameras.

“In terms of the quantity of video data it offers on enemy vehicles/equipment, the Avengers platform is unparalleled worldwide. Our focus remains on enhancing Avengers and other AI technologies to give our Armed Forces a competitive advantage. Our future strategy includes enhancing the platform's cloud capabilities and integrating AI solutions with drone systems,” said Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digital Development.

Ukraine’s use of sophisticated AI systems and structures with military applications helps operators makes key decisions on the most effective and efficient way with less human errors. Heavy camouflaged vehicles or equipments passing through a dense forest are also automatically detected by the system giving Ukraine an on the ground competitive edge.
