However, Judge Merchan previously rejected Trump's appeal to recuse himself from the case due to his daughter's connection with a Democratic campaign firm. It remains unclear whether Judge Merchan will grant another postponement. Additionally, Trump faces serious legal challenges from the Georgia election interference case and the January 6 involvement, which can impact his campaign schedule, debate participation, and pose the unprecedented risk of imprisonment if he wins the presidency.
Voter Appeal: Trump is alienating key voters essential for securing the White House.
