Trump: Assassination

Former President Donald Trump was suddenly hit by multiple gunshots at approximately 6:15 PM tonight, shortly after beginning his speech on immigration at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The Secret Service quickly surrounded him to ensure his safety. Five hours earlier, Trump posted on his Truth Social that a bullet had pierced the upper part of his right ear, stating, "I immediately knew something was wrong when I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and felt the bullet ripping through my skin."

Anthony Guglielmi, the Communications Chief of the Secret Service, issued a statement about the attempted assassination. He explained that the suspected shooter fired multiple shots at the stage where Trump was standing from an elevated position outside the rally. The suspect was immediately killed by the Secret Service. Unfortunately, one spectator was killed and two others are critically injured. The incident is currently under investigation, including the suspect's motives.
