Kamala’s Nomination

DNC Chair Jaime Harrison announced that VP Kamala had secured the necessary votes to clinch the Democratic nominations following the delegates virtual balloting where they cast their votes through phone and online form. Harrison during a call with the Harris campaign announced: “I am so proud to confirm that Vice President Harris has earned more than a majority of votes from all convention delegates and will be the nominee of the Democratic Party following the close of voting on Monday” VP Kamala will accept the nomination, and on Tuesday she will announce her choice for VP.
